Award-winning performer Paula Purnell presents songs written by and about the people of Pennsylvania in this family-friendly and interactive presentation featuring authentic instruments. Purnell teaches education courses and presents workshops on regional history, folk music and arts integration. Purnell is a faculty member at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her band The NewLanders researches, arranges, records and performs traditional songs that capture the American spirit.
