"Thaddeus Stevens" with Steven Anderson
An English professor-turned-professional actor and a founding member of the Pennsylvania Past Players, Steven Anderson is especially interested in stories of the Civil War. Through a living history interpretation of Thaddeus Stevens using classic American storytelling, Anderson shows how a farm boy became one of the most influential men in 19th-century politics. This taping was held at The National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, which is affiliated with the Smithsonian Institution. The museum strives to tell the entire story of the Civil War with a balanced and fully encompassing approach.
